Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 4 years and 10 months old | 100 lbs
I just rescued a dog who has a clean bill of health. He was just on a cycle of antibiotics and he is done with that now. That was due to testing positive for Lyme. Ever since we got him his skin on his entire body has a corn chip smell. I have bathed him. Twice and it is still there. He has no ear infections and no itching or visible signs of yeast. When I first got him he did have huge flakes of white skin on him and after the bath those are now gone. His skin looks very dry. He is a boxmas

You could try bathing him with a medicated shampoo that is antifungal and soothing to the skin. Make a lather and let it set on the skin for 5-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Bathe 3 times a week for 2 weeks. If the smell is still there, then Wyatt should be re-examined by the vet. Chronic yeast infections can be caused by food allergies or underlying immune disorders, which could be caused by endocrine diseases like hypothyroidism or Cushing's. I like this shampoo: https://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=27920
