Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 14 days old | 2.6 lbs
My kitten just lost a tooth. I don't know if it was broken off or just fell out. There was blood. I don't think she is old enough to start loosing teeth. How old should she be? We figure shes about 4 months or so born at the beginning of July or end of June. We don't know since she was abandoned my mom and the lady we got her from couldn't take care of her.

You can typically age kittens by weight. They should gain about 1 pound per month. They start losing teeth around 12 weeks of age and permanent teeth should be fully in place by 6 to 9 months. I hope this helps and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
