Long question will cut off... Ok. I have a doggy diet question. We have two dogs, a blue nose pit and a German Shepard/Rottweiler/lab mix. The pit is named blade, the mix is named arrow. We adopted arrow in late August of this year, we think he's about a year old. Blade is also a rescue whom we have had for 2 years and he's about 4 or 5 years old. Diarrhea in dogs can have many causes, including food intolerance or allergies, intestinal parasites, dietary indiscretion, bacterial or viral infection, stress colitis, among others. Some dogs with sensitive stomachs can get diarrhea from simply changing foods suddenly or having treats. I recommend that you talk with a vet about Arrow's constantly changing stool consistency. They can rule out easy things like intestinal parasites. They may recommend a special diet or have other recommendations on feeding.
