Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 3 years old | 49 lbs
We have a staffordshire bull terrier and we recently got a puppy of the same breed, they seem to get along well and play but after two months our older dog has been getting hives when they play, the puppy does bite at her face and that is where they have been. My husband is anxious and protective of the older dog. The only other time our dog got hive was when our other wiener dog died about two years ago, she had hives for two or three days. so I don't know if it is stress or the biting?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This can be from excitement and activity while playing or due to an allergic reaction to something. I do not think that this is from the bites. Good luck and have a great day!
