Hi good Night i bought a shitzu puppy 2 weeks ago and he is about to ver his "second" short but the seller said that he has "first" shot already but she refuses to give the papers saying that he had his first shot the olny thing that we know is that the seller said the dog was given his "shot" in a petco in Washington heights, Manhattan can You help me get a record that says that the dog was given his first shot there because it is time for his shot 2 and we live in queens. We are a website for pet advice, so we cannot access records at Petco stores. You will need to call that Petco to see if you can get the records, but they may not release them to you because you weren't the owner when Hachi was originally brought it. Any reputable breeder would provide the papers proving that vaccines were given, and the fact that the breeder is refusing to give them to you make me suspicious he never got any vaccines. I would treat it like this second shot is his first shot, and do three total rounds of vaccines. It will not hurt him, and you don't want to take the risk that he didn't get his first shot, so only giving him two will not leave him fully vaccinated. I hope this helps!
