She may either be going through a growth spurt, or she may have low glucose. If she isn't eating at least 3/4th of her normal diet, then I would be concerned about possible low glucose or another neurological condition. Low glucose typically also causes a depressed mentation and sometimes staggering when walking. https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4952329 Its best to take her in to your vet if that is the case, to get her glucose levels checked. You can also offer her some karo syrup (only about 1 tsp) on her gums if her energy seems really low, once every 6 hrs until you can get her in the vet to be seen. Thismay not completely correct low glucose but it can help stabilize her until she can be seen by your vet. I hope that your puppy Mocha feels better soon! Best wishes and take care!

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. If Mocha has become acutely weak and wobbly then I recommend putting corn syrup or honey on her gums and getting her to a vet right away. The signs you are describing could be either hypoglycemia (low glucose) OR hyperglycemia and re-occurance of ketosis. I recommend you put sugar on her gums, and get her to a vet immediately to check which of these glucose levels is occurring. If she is ketotic again IV fluids and a shorter acting insulin will be required to get her out of that crisis. I hope Mocha feels better soon!
