Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 15 lbs
My 7 year old cat keeps gaining weight, even though he gets the same exact amount of dry and wet food that I've fed him for the last 2 years, and gets the same amount of exercise as the last 2 years. Why?

I'm wondering if Dude is allowed outside. If he is allowed outside, it could be he is going to other homes to get food. Outdoor cats frequently visit other homes to get additional food. If he is allowed outside, I'd keep him indoors to see if that helps with the weight gain. If he isn't allowed outside, then I'd take him into the vet as there may be a medical issue behind his weight gain. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
