My dog won't eat homemade food. Can I add seasoning for appeal?

Hello my name is Cecilia & my dog's name is Sara Sara is a miniature doberman who weights 6 pounds for the last 2 days she has not eaten all her food i made her chicken & rice i want to know if i should put any type of seasonings in the food to make it more appealing to her

Hello, thank you for your question. I would not put any seasoning on the food you have cooked as it can actually make it less appealing or even toxic to dogs. If her appetite does not improve on the home cooked diet I would recommend having Sara seen by your veterinarian to examine her and look for an underlying cause of inappetance.
