My senior Yorkie is licking everything, even the air. Is it normal?

Hello, I have a ten year old yorkie and for the past month he loves to lick. Furniture,clothing, himself, blankets, even the air. Is this normal? Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 10 years and 6 months old | 10 lbs

This behaviour could be related to a neurological problem (especially licking the air). Certain type of seizures can lead to this type of behaviour but a video of the episodes should be ideally analyzed before any final verdict can be given.
