Do female birds lay eggs all year, or just in spring/summer?

I understand female birds lay eggs without a male.. My question is do they lay eggs all year round or just in the spring & summer with more daylight time? Pet's info: Bird | Finch | Female | unspayed

Most will lay only in the Spring and Summer. If you find she is laying excessively or year round, limit exposure to daylight and adjust room temperature by a few degrees. This should stop her from laying.
