My cat had a UTI. What diet and care prevent future infections?

Hi I have a male cat one and half years old and i want a good dite for him what can i cook to him feed him by the way he had a urine infection and i cut out the dry food only chicken and lots of water . And i wanted to ask what couse urine infection?? And what can i do to preventing that from comeing agine Thank you for your time

Stress related (idiopathic type of inflammation) infection and presence of crystals are the most common causes of it. Struvite crystals are very common and usually comes from alkaline urine. Specific diets can be given to acidify urine like s/d by Hill's.
