Why does my cat chew on Plastic wrappers? She is 19 months old and seems healthy. Should I be concerned? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 6 months old | 9 lbs

Some cats chew on it because they like the taste and texture in their mouth. This can be a concern because if the cat eats it, it can cause a foreign body. When I was in college, I had a cat eat the plastic streamers from a pom pom, and she had to have emergency surgery. I would keep Sasha from doing this. I hope this helps!
