My dog pulled out stitches after surgery and I can see his insides. What do I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Male | neutered | 6 months and 7 days old | 25 lbs

My dog had a nueter and hernia removal three days ago. He broke his cone and we didn't realize until he had already taken out several it the stitches from his hernia removal surgery. Now I can see his insides. I can't get to the very till Monday. What should I do?

If you can see Finn's insides, this is a medical emergency and it cannot wait until Monday. His abdominal contents could come out though the incision, and that can be fatal. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website. Best of luck.
