My dog was bitten, now has an abscess. Can I drain it myself?

My dog has been bitten by another dog but it wasn't bleeding I cleaned with disinfectant but he keeps licking it off. He seems to have an absesse but the bit marks are healed closed. I tried to apply pressure hoping it will find a way to come out however it seems like the absesse has burst internally. I am giving him antibiotics and can't afford the vet. Can I drain it myself?

If there is really an abscess, this should not be treated at home. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment.
