My cat is struggling from antifreeze poisoning. Should I put him down?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | 2 years and 7 months old | 15 lbs

My cat puked black blood and couldn't move for the past day,had seizures and haven't eaten for 2 3 days.My vet told me he has antifreeze poisoning and that he can t do nothing for him only to put him down because he s only struggling.ShouLD i put him down?

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. If your vet is sure your cat is suffering from anti-freeze toxicity, then yes, unfortunately at this stage euthanasia is the most humane option as this will be fatal in a painful way. Eitherway it sounds like Cas is very very sick, and euthanasia might be his best option, even if the cause isn't anti-freeze. I am sorry that Cas is so sick.
