Hello! My kitten is about 4 months old. We’ve taken her to the vet regularly and she just started getting her kitten shots 2 weeks ago.So she hasn’t pooped in 2 days. She’s eating now since this morning but didnt really eat as much as she normally does yesterday. I gave her pumpkin last night and today to try and make her poop. The pumpkin definitely shows up in the litter box but no real “turds”. I also noticed this morning a small bump above her back leg area. Should I be concerned?

Thank you for contacting Pet Coach with your concern about Queso. I LOVE her name! The pumpkin pass through is a good sign that her GI tract is moving, and given that she hadn't been eating as much as normal yesterday, that could be the cause as to why you haven't seen poop. Because she has passed the pumpkin, I wouldn't be too worried just yet. As for the small bump above her back leg, keep an eye on it. If it gets bigger or it begins to bother her, then I would take her into the vet to get it checked out. I hope this helps!
