My cat got Frontline Plus and Revolution. Is this combination safe?

I administrated Frontline Plus to my cat a couple days ago, he was taken to the vet this morning and the vet didnt know and gave him revolution. Will he be okay? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 7.2 lbs

Since Frontline plus is a different type of flea preventive (fipronil + a larval development inhibitor) from Revolution (an avermectin) there should be no problem. There is no adverse interaction reported that I could find.
