Why did my fish's color fade after Malachite Green treatment?

When I used Malachite Green- F, after 24 Hours My Blood parrot fish and yellow parrot fish color has fading ,so I changed water after that this condition ,why do this changing color in fish after medication ?

The color change may be due to the illness or stress. Perform partial water changes, no more than 30% at a time, and monitor the fish. Consider adding an airstone since this medication can affect oxygen levels in the tank further contributing to stress.
