Im worried about the health of my pet and I'm worried it has mang mites. It is losing hair in an area. This was not happening a week ago. Pet's info: Small Animal | Guinea Pig | Female

Ideally, Charlie should be physically examined by your veterinarian. He may have a bacterial or fungal infection. Your vet can perform testing to diagnose the underlying cause. Once there is a diagnosis, the appropriate treatment can be administered. In the meantime, clean and sanitize the cage, bowls, toys and hides. Discard anything that cannot be sanitized. Keep the bedding clean and dry.
