Is hydrogen peroxide safe for my dog's infected, biting skin?

My dog has a skin infection is it safe to spray hydrogen peroxide on her skin. She has been bitting that area

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I am afraid that it is not possible to accurately help you with this without being able to evaluate this lesion you describe. If this is superficial, you could try to use chlorhexidine pads topically. However, if this is a deep wound, that would not be recommended. I do not recommend spraying hydrogen peroxide. I recommend you have Sadie evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good night!
