My dog won't stop scratching. What vet shots help with itching?

My dogs are scratching a lot what could I do cause we give the baths but nothing seems to work. My cousin says she took her dog to the vet. Do you know the name of that shot would be.

There are several shots that can help with itching depending on what is causing the itching. Some veterinarians will give a short or long acting corticosteroid shot for allergy related itching. Cytopoint is a shot similar to a vaccine that helps to counteract itching from allergies as well. There are many other things that can cause itching as well that could require additional treatments - skin infections and external parasites for example. It would be best for your dogs to see your vet for a full exam, and the vet can then recommend tests and treatment.
