Is 40 degrees too cold for 5-week-old puppies to sleep outside?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

This doesn't have anything to do with Peach, but her puppies. It's supposed to be 40 degrees tonight. They're 5 weeks old and I was wondering if Peach stayed out there with them, that they could sleep outside until we can air out the house because my brother let all dogs in the house. They destroyed it because of him

If you are talking about 40 degrees F°, that is definitively too cold for them as puppies cannot regulate their normal temperature for the first few weeks of life. Unfortunately (for the house) they should stay inside.
