Is it safe for my cat to have guests after neutering in a studio?

I live in a small studio apartment with a cat. He is getting neutered on the 15th. On the 16th my friend and his wife wanted to spend the night at my studio. My cat doesn't know these people. Will this cause too much anxiety and health concerns for the cat? Should i tell my friends that they cannot spend the night?

It may be stressful for your cat. Why don't try to either postpone the surgery until after your friends stayed at your place, or have it done much earlier. Neutering a tom is not such a big surgery and your vet may be able to fit him in somewhere.
