My dog has a pink fatty lump on his belly near his nipple. What is it?

Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 10 months old | 21 lbs

Dog is 2 year old Jack Russell. On his nelly next to one of his nipples is a pink fatty tissue slowly getting bigger.. what is this fatty pink bump ..seems like it can bust or just shrink hopefully

Hi. Unfortunately it is impossible to tell without an examination and testing of the lump. But, it appears to me to be what's called a histiocytoma. These are benign growths that appear in young pets usually under the age of 4 and usually around the age of 2. They are red, raised, sometimes dry and ulcerated looking. We are benign growths that usually go away on their own within a few months. I would recommend though having it double checked by your veterinarian. Good luck.
