Why is my chihuahua yelping, scooting, and in pain after pooping?

my 18 monyh old chihuahua has for tha last 2 days just yelped out for no apparent reasonthen walks over to me very slowly for me to pick him up he keeps going to his bum especially when he has had a poo and he keeps scooting his bum on the carpet ? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) | Male | unneutered | 7.05 lbs

Hugo could have some anal gland discomfort or back or neck pain causing him to cry out. I would recommend seeing your veterinarian- they can check his anal glands and look for a source of pain. They might recommend some tests or starting some pain medication.
