My horse panics from fireworks. How can I calm him without a stable?

How to eas a horses panic when the fireworks are going off last night someone had fireworks and my horses was running around in panic I couldn’t even catch him I don’t have a stable to put him in what can I do?

That is a difficult problem. I usually try giving treats to catch them, and then use grooming with soothing talk to help calm their fear. There are anti anxiety supplements you can give if you know this is going to happen ahead of time. You may also talk with your neighbors to let you know when they will be doing this so you can prepare, have him under control, give medication or if possible consider taking your hose to another place if needed.
