My puppy's ear is swollen with a bleeding hole. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Dog | English Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 20 lbs

We found this little hole on are puppies ear today and it’s pretty swollen. It was bleeding but we stopped the blood and clean the area. No pus seems to be inside the hole. Any ideas what it could be?

It's probably an ear infection, often it cannot be seen from the outside. Ear infections are very common in dogs, it is usually caused by either yeast or bacterial disease. the treatment is usually simple and straightforward, you will have to take Oso to the vet and get the ears checked, then a prescription ear drops will be prescribed according to the infectious agent.

    Ouch ! That looks painful. I think before putting anything in the ear, she should be checked over so she can get some pain relief or some antiinflammatories to help things settle and then more specific topical medications according to what the primary cause is : yeast, bacterial.. etc etc hope she gets better soon !
