My puppy won't eat after tooth extraction. Is she in pain?

My 7 month old puppy had her 4 baby canines extracted 5 days ago. Vet gave me Meloxicam to give her everyday but she doesn’t seem like she needs it so it was never used. She hasn’t been eating for a 1.5 days (maybe only nibble only a little) but she would seem her normal playful self. Is she in pain? Should I start giving her Meloxicam as prescribed?
