My puppy has a rash with bumps that is running up one side of his body and I am concerned as to whether he needs to go the emergency vet as the regular vet is closed at present. Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 22 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This looks like a focal infection. You can try to use a medicated shampoo containing chlorhexidine twice weekly for 2 weeks. If there is no improvement or in the meantime this appears to be getting worse, have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. This does not appear to be an emergency.
