Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 7 lbs
Hi there I have a cat who is over a year old. He was rescued at about 5 months. I took him to the vet cause he had a wheeze and eye discharge from both eyes that is dark red. He was on oral and drop( eyes) antibiotics. It cleared up but it has resurfaced and is on antibiotics again but It’s helping but still on fixing his problem. Any suggestions would be wonderful?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This could be due to an eye injury or conditions such as a corneal laceration, corneal ulcer, conjunctivitis, dry eye (also known as KCS), among many other conditions. It is important to note that this is not necessarily the same thing that happened before so I would not recommend you give the same medication that you used before. I highly recommend that you have Jax evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Further therapy would be based on the findings. Good luck and best wishes!
