This would depend on the types of intestinal parasites diagnosed. In general, Strongid (pyrantel pamoate) and Panacur (fenbendazole) are two of the most common dewormers used in puppies. Discuss an appropriate dose with your veterinarian before deworming the litter. It will likely need to be repeated in 2 and 4 weeks.

Common broad spectrum dewormers include fenbendazole (Panacur) and pyrantel pamoate (Strongid). For tapeworm infection, praziquantel should be used. Always discuss an appropriate dose with your veterinarian before administering.

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Products that contain Pyrantel (Drontal) or Fenbendazole (Panacur) are broad spectrum deworming agents you may find over the counter at your local pet store. However, it is best if you run a fecal test with Axel's veterinarian first to determine what parasite he is infected with so the right deworming agent or combination of deworming medications can be administered. I hope this helps!
