My dog's rear end needs help. Can I use Epsom salt or other home remedies?

I was wondering if I could soak my dogs butt in epsom salt or any other home remedies you recommend? And how long? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 11 years and 9 months old | 20 lbs

I am sorry to hear about Bear. I think to advise you we need more information as to what exactly is going on with your dog's rear end that may require treatment to better advise you. We occasionally use epsom salt soaks for pet's feet, but not often for bottoms.
