Dog hit by car, fractured ribs. How long until he's back to normal?

My dog was hit by a car on Tuesday we went to the vet everything is ok but 3 if his ribs were fractured so he has a cast and he vomits a little how soon after will he be back to his normal self. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 13 lbs

It's hard to say. It sounds like he's still in the active part of recovery where he may still not be fully in the clear. If nothing new comes up in the next week and there are no complications, he should be feeling pretty good in 1-2 months I'd expect.
