My guinea pig has chews. Are his teeth too long? What are the signs?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Guinea Pig | Male | unneutered | 10 months and 16 days old

I was just wondering if his teeth are too long? He has chews and a cabob to chew on. Sorry about my husband in the background by the way haha.

From looking at the photos I cannot see that the teeth are too long. However, if your guinea pig cannot close its mouth, then there is a possibility that its molars may be to long or crooked. As long as Sebastian eats well, drinks well and does not lose weight, he should be fine and you are doing everything right giving him chews.
