Is it normal for a 10 month old cat to eat laying down? She is very active at times, but even then, she plop down on her side for several minutes, even mid run. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 9 months and 23 days old | 10 lbs

I have seen some cats that will eat laying down so that doesn’t seem as concerning. If Mischief seems to be laying down during exercise or is ever panting I would recommend having her examined by your vet to make sure she doesn’t have any respiratory or cardiac problems.
