My dog has a red-brown mark under one eye. Should I be worried?

Hi, I just noticed a brown mark under one of my dogs eye in the conjuctiva. It's slightly red, but doesn't have discharge or seem to bother her and for now it's only one eye. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 6 years and 6 months old

This just looks like an area of inflammation in the conjunctiva. It may have developed from something irritating in the eye. At this point it’s nothing to be overly concerned about. Please check it daily, it should improve and go away in a few days. If it starts to look worse then certainly a veterinary exam is indicated.
