Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 4 years and 9 months old | 8 lbs
My new cat is throwing up his food even though I now break up his feedings into several small meals though out the day. I have not changed his food. He has already had allergy and enzyme tests done with no conclusive answers. His vomit is mostly undigested food which is why I break up his feedings and put his food on a flat tray to slow him down. He has no other symptoms. I am thinking I should put him on wet food since it resembles a more natural diet but am not an expert.

Hello. Some veterinary nutritional specialists do recommend feeding cats only a wet diet, & some even go so far as to recommend not feeding anything with fish. There is no harm in slowly switching Linus to a canned meat or poultry diet, but if this does not stop or slow down the vomiting, you may have to try a truly hypoallergenic diet such as Hill's z/d. These specialty diets are through your veterinarian only. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
