What to do for a senior dog with painful mammary cancer?

Hello my friend has a 12 year old female dog with mammary cancer . The cancer in rock hard and huge on front nipple I noticed yesterday another has developed. What should we do for the pain

You need to take her to a veterinarian for an exam. It may be possible to remove the tumor and so relieve the pain permanently. Any pain killer that is to be effective will be a prescription medicine, so you will need to consult with your veterinarian.
