Why are my 4-week-old puppies sick with diarrhea and heavy breathing?

I have 4 puppies who are 4 weeks and 4 days old. The mother ran away from home a few day but when she came back she was skinny, didn't eat, barely drank any water and would not feed the puppies. We took the puppies in. When we took them in their stool was very watery and have been feeding them Purina wet puppy food and water. Is that okay for the puppies? Also there is one puppy that sleeps a lot but is breathing a little heavy, what should I do? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 2 days old

Purina puppy food is fine to feed. However, I would also deworm the puppies with a puppy wormer available from your veterinarian or pet shop. If the diarrhea does not stop within the next few days, I suggest you take the litter to a veterinarian for a puppy exam and fecal exam.
