Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | unneutered

I have 5months golden retriever puppy, I bought it from my friend when it was 4 months old. When I brought puppy it was healthy enough, but now it is becoming lean, infact I can see it's ribs. We are feeding puppy properly 3-4 times a day(royal cabin/ meat food) sometimes it doesn't eat. Why my puppy is becoming lean? Pls help

You should feed your puppy a complete puppy food. Royal Canin puppy food for large breeds would be the proper food. You may need to have your puppy dewormed. You may also need to feed more. If your puppy does not eat its food it may not like it, so you can slowly transition to puppy food from another brand. I recommend you take your puppy to a pet doctor for an exam and deworming and vaccinations.
