Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 3.5 lbs

My cat ate plant leaves and threw up green throw up for a while, then started throwing up brown puke which had a rotten smell. Now she was no interest in food or water, is constantly sleepy and not herself at all.

This is an emergency. Brown puke is a sign of possible bleeding in the stomach (the acid in the stomach makes blood turn brown). Your cat could have an ulcer, or an intoxication or another gastrointestinal problem. Please take Honey to a veterinarian today.
