My dog keeps licking a black hard bulge on his old wound. What is it?

Sir, My dog actually had a cut on his hand 2 months back. We took him to a Vet and stitched it. Stitch was broken in 3 days because he was running with it. Then it healed gradually by spraying a medicine on it. Now it has become a black hard bulge which he always keep licking. What might it be. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 2 years old | 59.5 lbs

It's likely to be infected, i would recommend to take him back to your vet in order to get it checked, maybe he needs an antibiotic course and maybe the scab needs to be debrided, it really depends how bad it is.
