my 9 yr old cat has a large mass inside her bladder. she has blood in her urine. a urine cytology was inconclusive. What are the options to obtain a biopsy of the mass? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9 years and 2 months old | 13 lbs

A surgical biopsy is most likely to be diagnostic (get enough cells to tell us the type of mass). Depending on the location, your vet may be able to do a traumatic catheterization or an ultrasound-guided fine needle aspirate.
