It could be tinea (ringworm) but unfortunately I cannot tell you that for sure just by looking at a photo. Hair loss can be due to many different things. If I had to guess I would say it is not likely ringworm as there does not appear to be any redness or scabbing that we normally see with a ringworm infection. I suggest you get Moca to your vet for an exam. They should be able to do a test to see if it is ringworm. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

A bald patch is suspicious of ringworm, but could also be due to a traumatic lesion, yeast or bacteria infection. Ringworm can definitely be contagious to people, but not all people will get it. For example, I've been exposed to ringworm hundreds of times throughout my career and have never been infected by it. The only way to really know if it's ringworm is to have a vet evaluate Ahna and do some testing. For now, I recommend washing your hands anytime you touch Ahna. For more information about ringworm and how to prevent spread, please click on the links below: https://www.petcoach.co/article/ringworm-in-dogs/ https://www.cdc.gov/healthypets/diseases/ringworm.html I hope that helps and all is well with Ahna.
