What's the best way to dry my cat after a bath, blow dryer or towel?

I would not recommend doing that, just dry him very well with a towel and keep him in a warm place (direct sun outside would be best), generally though you should avoid bathing your cat altogether, i do not recommend bathing cats at all.

    I wouldn't bathe a cat too often. They are very good at keeping themselves clean. I would just recommend rubbing her with a towel and letting her be. You can also comb her out if she will sit for it. I would just be careful with getting bit by her since cat bites can get infected. I would be surprised if she sat for a blow dryer. Cats do not tend to like baths however there are always a small portion that don't mind. Some grooming salons specialize in cats as well as dogs but I tend to recommend to just use a waterless bath that you can purchase from a pet store. Since the cats hair is also long it is important to brush him on a regualr basis with a brush for cats to ensure he doesn't get matted

Hello, thank you for using Boop by Petco. It is always best to bathe in the morning where a little sun will help to dry them. You can initially gently dry them with a soft towel, & perhaps dry them a bit with a hair dryer on very low moving the nozzle constantly. But then put them in a spot out of any breezes & let them preen themselves dry. They will appreciate this! Take care.

No, it is not necessary to bathe a cat! They are very fastidious and clean by nature, so you most certainly do not need to bathe your cat. If they have dander or aren’t grooming themselves well for some reason, brushing can help tremendously without the stress of a bath. Great question!

Cats definitely do not require regular bathing as cats do an excellent job of grooming themselves. If his cat is not grooming itself, there is most likely some sort of health issue causing this. this would extremely unusual for a little kitten. If he dose decide to bathe his kitty regularly, he has the potential of drying out the skin depending on how often he does this. He also will have to make sure he chooses an appropriate shampoo for dogs / cats. I have owned three cats for the last six years and have never bathed a single one of them once.

How often should you wash your cat for fleas? And also how often should you feed your cat wet food? Could she only eat dry food?
There are no hard an fast rules about any of this. If your cat has fleas, a quality topical or oral flea treatment from your vet is most effective. Treating your house and yard will also help reduce the flea population. If you decide to bathe your cat, I recommend about once a week with any pet shampoo, it doesn't have to be a flea shampoo. Trim your cat's nails and apply a drop of plain mineral oil or a small strip of plain, non-medicated ophthalmic ointment to both eyes. Use very warm water to get your cat's coat completely wet, then apply a small amount of shampoo and lather it into the coat well, from tail tip to toes to the end of her nose. The eye ointment will prevent the shampoo from stinging her eyes. Lather her well and let the shampoo sit on for about ten minutes to kill any fleas that are on her. Rinse her well, making sure to get in all the nooks and crannies like her armpits and under her belly, otherwise any shampoo left on can irritate her skin. Towel her off thoroughly

I haven't been bathing my cat at all and i want to start now. How often should i bathe her and how do you bathe her?
Cats shouldn't be bathed more often than once every 6-8 weeks if needed. You can have her groomed by a professional groomer so she doesn't associate the stress of bathing with you. If this is not an option, bathe her when she is most calm. Trim her nails and brush her first. Your veterinarian or groomer can show you how to trim nails if necessary. Use a cat approved shampoo. Place a mat in the the sink or tub for traction so she doesn't slip. Place cotton balls in her ears to prevent water getting in them. If you have sterile plain eye lubricant, instill in both eyes to protect from soap. Fill the container with 3-4 inches of water. Wet her down, lather her up and rinse thoroughly. Wrap her in a thick towel and dry her completely. Remove the cotton balls from her ears, wipe her face and give her a final brushing. If she won't allow bathing, use plain unscented baby wipes or pet wipes. These can also be used to spot clean between baths.

I would use a towel to dry as much hair as possible. Sometimes it takes a couple dry towels to do the job. I would recommend removing the collar until it is also dry as wet collars can cause skin irritation. If Ziggy won't let you use a towel, you can try a hairdryer on low heat and using caution to not accidentally burn the skin, but many dogs will be very scared of the hair dryer. It is perfectly healthy for them to air dry!
