My dog's stool test showed yeast. Is it serious? Can it cause diarrhea?

Hy i did stool test for my dog he have yeast like fungi (++) what is that and how to treat can it cause diareha ?

I think that is unlikely to be causing the diarrhoea and more likely to be a contamination of the sample which is not relevant. Many are the causes of diarrhoea including dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal inflammation /infection (viral or bacterial). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed.
