How to stop my young kitten's destructive, aggressive meowing?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 27 days old | 2 lbs

We got a kitten that was only 4 weeks old (seemed too young but we didnt question the breeder), and now hes being extremely destructive, chewing on cords and clawing furniture, as well as meowing all night to the point he had to be put in his crate and placed in a seperate room so we could sleep, ontop of that hes extremely aggressive to other animals which isnt working out with my roomates since they have 2 dogs and a cat, if i cant fix the 3 problems in a week i have to re home him, help?

That's incredibly odd behavior for a 8 week old kitten. I wonder be concerned that he doesn't have a fully normal brain behaviorally. You aren't going to be able fix all those issues in a week and are going to have trouble finding a good home for him I suspect. What I would recommend is getting an appointment with a veterinary behaviorist (NOT a trainer or non-vet behaviorist) for a fully assessment to give him and you the best chance.
