My senior dog has a skin yeast infection. Does Monistat work?

My 13 year old dog yeast infection on her skin we shaved her and that is when we found it we put monstat on her and antibiotic cream for 7 days. Thanks for any help you can me. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 18 years and 3 months old | 65 lbs

Monistat is not likely to help in this case, you will need either a medicated shampoo to treat yeast infection or an oral antifungal medication, these are prescription only and you will need to take her to the vet in order to get them.
