Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | 17 years and 1 month old | 26 lbs
Hello, I have a question. My dog is 18 years old, and has never been to the vet, and her behavior and mobility hasn't changed since she was 7 or 8. My question is: are there going to be signs when she is entering her final days/weeks? I naively hope she will live for several more years given her wonderful health, but I have honestly never heard of a dog living past 18.

There are signs when a dog is reaching the end of their life, and there can be a number of different ones depending on if the dog has an illness and the type of illness. There could be a loss of appetite, weight loss, lethargy, and/or difficulty getting up and down. I hope this helps!
