Pet's info: Dog | Goldendoodle | Female | spayed | 11 months and 25 days old | 35 lbs
I recently moved and my new area has several “neighborhood dogs” that are a huge issue (ie knocking over trash cans, pottying on my porch and yard, barking all night, destroying decorations, growling at my dog, etc.). I’m not sure what to do as animal control won’t come out where I’ve moved to. I don’t want anything to happen to the dogs, but can’t handle being terrorized by them. Their owners don’t seem bothered by their behavior despite our pleas. What can I do to deter them from my home?

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! I’m sorry you are going through this. Some suggestions are 1) to keep calling the SPCA and police and reporting them. 2) Keep trash cans inside the garage. 3) fence your yard 4) take them yourself to the SPCA 5) get a motion detector noise deterrent. There are many places online. Below is an example. https://homeshielders.com/products/battery-powered-ultrasonic-animal-and-bird-repeller?gclid=EAIaIQobChMImNDu5p-f3gIVjaOzCh3uhAKxEAQYAyABEgKz8fD_BwE Good luck!
